As Chief Operating Officer at Artemundi, Ángel brings a global perspective and deep expertise in blockchain-based financial solutions, digital asset strategies, and alternative investments. With a strong track record in operational leadership and technology-driven innovation, he plays a key role in scaling Artemundi’s art investment strategy and aligning it with cutting-edge financial technology.

At Artemundi, Ángel leads efforts to optimize operational efficiency, strengthen financial governance, and seamlessly integrate emerging technologies into the company’s services. His ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while driving innovation positions Artemundi as a pioneer in the evolving art investment sector.

Previously, Ángel was Project Manager at Grant Thornton’s Digital Asset Lab, where he led several high-impact initiatives—including the European Investment Bank’s first tokenized bond in pound sterling, frameworks for tokenized deposits used by major Spanish banks, and the development of blockchain-based real estate investment platforms. His work helped bridge the gap between traditional finance and next-generation digital infrastructure.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a Strategy and IT Consultant at Accenture, specializing in financial services, fixed-income portfolio management, and the securitization of loan portfolios. This foundation sharpened his ability to translate complex financial processes into scalable, tech-enabled solutions.

Ángel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from IE University, with additional academic experience at Brown University and Georgetown University. Having worked across Europe, Latin America, and the U.S., he brings a truly international approach to digital finance, operational strategy, and the future of alternative investing.
